CS 1995 "City of Zurich – Industrial site Sulzer-Escher Wyss: Re-integration of an industrial site"

Examining the re-integration od released industrial sites, the case study 1995 investigated questions of assessing, controlling, and implementing ecological considerations within the construction process. The main questions were:

What is the framework, what are the criteria of environmentally sound construction?
Are we able to evaluate and to rate the environmental benefits and impacts and losses that may result from construction in early stages of planning?
Which necessities result from the view of tomorrow's environment to be addressed to today's constructing? How may of the aspects of sustainability be understood?
